All academic licenses include the core components of the ArcGIS Platform – ArcGIS Desktop (ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap) and extensions, ArcGIS Enterprise and extensions, and ArcGIS Online (GIS Professional user type) – as well as Esri CityEngine and Premium apps (Business Analyst, Community Analyst, GeoPlanner, Insights).

Licenses for Students
Students who wish to install Esri software on their personal computers may be able to access licenses through their institution or purchase one-year licenses.
Named User Licenses
Institutions with any education license may provide students with access to ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS apps, and ArcGIS Pro through Named User accounts. Consult the map above to see if your institution has a license.
For individual, non-commercial personal use. The license includes ArcGIS for Desktop (ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap) and extensions, ArcGIS Online and several Premium apps for a low annual fee.
